Resting at the base of the Niagara Escarpment in WNY, where thousands of years ago, glacial deposits created the fertile basis for our premium grapes. The moderating effects of Lake Ontario, contribute to a longer growing season and ripening vineyards.

Ten miles to the west in Niagara Falls, NY, the mighty Niagara River continues to carve its way through the geologic foundations of this region. Since the days of early European explorers the power and majesty of this land have drawn many to take up the challenge to settle and thrive here. 

Niagara Landing Wine Cellars, Lockport, NY, is nestled in vineyards dating back to the late 1800s, tended by three generations of family viticulturists.

Established in 1998, Niagara Landing Wine Cellars was the first winery to open in Niagara County, NY in over a decade and helped pave the way for what is now the Niagara Wine Trail, USA.

Niagara Landing Wine Cellars specializes in wines made from both native labrusca grapes and European vinifera varietals. Our award-winning wines range from the smooth and fruity Boxer Blush to our rich and full Cabernet Sauvignon. 

A visit to our winery offers a warm welcome, wine tasting with winery tours by appointment. Take a moment to browse in our wine gift shop and gallery, featuring works by local artists, and test your knowledge of little known facts about the Niagara region and its daredevils.

Vidal Blanc Ice Wine - the first Estate Ice Wine ever produced on the Niagara Escarpment, USA $39.95 for 375 ml.

Chocolate Dream - a dark cocoa infused dessert wine, perfect with anything or anyone that loves chocolate. $18 for 750ml

Bronze Medal
Baco Noir - a dry red whose malo-lactic fermentation provides complexity while exhibiting rich berry fruit and smoky rustic aromas. $14.95 for 750 ml

NEWS: Niagara Landing Wine Shop is OPEN! 6929 Williams Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. Open daily at the Summit Mall for wine tasting and gift shopping in the courtyard near Bon-Ton. 716-297-1171. Ice Wine The frozen Vidal Blanc grapes were harvested on January 3rd, when the temperature in the vineyard was 9 degrees F, by a group of hearty volunteers who will share with us the debut of the first release of an Estate (grapes grown in vineyards owned by the winery) Ice Wine in Niagara County Ever!! Released in May to celebrate the beginning of our tenth year.. Announcing a new wine Released in July "Old Mill Red" - a semi dry red wine. The label features an award winning photograph of the Williamsville, NY Water Mill taken by local photographer Terry Cervi. A portion of the sales from this wine will be donated to the Mill Restoration project. EVENTS: Each weekend this summer Niagara Landing has showcased the vintage aircraft, affectionately referred to as the Cambria Airforce, here at the winery. Each weekend, one or more of the airplanes owned and lovingly restored by Ray Smith has been on site for your inspection. We plan to have a full flight line for Labor Day weekend. Stop by, inspect and enjoy. Airplanes date back as far as the 1920's and are works of art. Examples include: 1937 Stearman, 1946 J-3 Cub, 1967 Citabria and a Curtiss Hawk! 3rd Annual Hot Pepper Festival September 20th & 21st at Niagara Landing. Join in the fun and help raise money for Niagara Hospice. There will be sampling of hot pepper delicacies, including our Hot Pepper Cab! You have to try it. Garlic from the Garlic King and live music both afternoons. To enter the competition- get your entries to the winery by Sept. 10th, $5 per entry, bring 2 pint jars per item. Categories are Hot Pepper Jelly, Hot Pepper Salsa and Canned Peppers. Cash prizes will be awarded. (Half the entry fees, the balance goes to charity) Harvest of Hope 2008 Saturday, September 20th 2008 Thaxton's Dinner House (5949 Campbell Blvd in Lockport) Smooth music by Kenny Kaufmann and Michelle Farina, dancing, gourmet foods paired with local fine wines by Niagara Landing.
